How do I access files marked in the .PDF format?

StFrancisFortMyers.org will occasionally upload forms for you to print or documents for you to read that are marked as "PDF," which stands for "Portable Document Format."  These files are accessed using a PDF reader.  Once you have a reader installed, all you have to do is click on the document and it will automatically display on your computer.  The most common PDF reader is Adobe Reader, which is available to download here (and works on both Windows and Macintosh).  Alternatively, here is a list of other PDF software programs you may find useful.


The site looks incorrect on my monitor.
StFrancisFortMyers.org was built to be best viewed on computer monitors using the 1024x768 pixel resolution.  Some monitors have smaller resolutions, which might squish some of the text and images together.  Others have larger, wider resolutions that might cause massive gaps of negative space on the site.  This is because when the site was constructed, it was meant to be centered on the 1024x768 monitor.  Don't worry!  All of the information is the same, but the presentation is optimal on the 1024x768 resolution.  For more information on monitor resolution and how to change it, click here.
